The SBS Internal, 'In-Spindle' or 'Spindle Type' automatic balancer is designed to be mounted into a bore within the grinding machine spindle. Integrating into the spindle provides mechanical optimisation and space saving.

The Balance Head contains two electric motors, gearboxes & correction weights. Spindle bores ranging from 28mm - 175mm can be utilised. Contact & non-contact transmission in front & rear side configurations are options, 

providing operating speeds from 300 - 30,000rpm.

The system is controller using the SBS SB-5500 modular controller, and acoustic emission monitoring for grinding gap touch detection and crash prevention can be integrated into the balance head for optimum grinding process control.
